Liam O’Connor is one of Ireland’s leading fiddle players and is the director of the Irish Traditional Music Archive. His solo album The Loom won Irish Times Trad Album of the Year (2017). He has performed with Liam O’Flynn, Tony MacMahon, and Noel Hill, and released Dublin Made Me with Seán McKeon, and Into the Loam, with Cormac Begley. His playing is powerful, rooted, and deeply expressive.
The week will comprise of 10 group workshops, individual lessons, concerts, hikes, sessions, saunas, food, and accommodation.
